Then Peter came to Jesus and asked, “Lord, how many times shall I forgive my brother or sister who sins against me? Up to seven times?” Jesus answered, “I tell you, not seven times, but seventy-seven times.”Then Peter came to Him and said, “Lord, how often shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? Up to seven times?” Jesus said to him, “I do not say to you, up to seven times, but up to seventy times seven.”
The Lord is a refuge for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble.The Lord also will be a refuge for the oppressed, A refuge in times of trouble.

In the past God overlooked such ignorance, but now he commands all people everywhere to repent.Truly, these times of ignorance God overlooked, but now commands all men everywhere to repent.
Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord.Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord.
When times are good, be happy; but when times are bad, consider this: God has made the one as well as the other. But I will sing of your strength, in the morning I will sing of your love; for you are my fortress, my refuge in times of trouble.But I will sing of Your power; Yes, I will sing aloud of Your mercy in the morning; For You have been my defense And refuge in the day of my trouble.
And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work.
But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah, though you are small among the clans of Judah, out of you will come for me one who will be ruler over Israel, whose origins are from of old, from ancient times.But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah, Though you are little among the thousands of Judah, Yet out of you shall come forth to Me The One to be Ruler in Israel, Whose goings forth are from of old, From everlasting.
And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints.
God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.God is our refuge and strength, A very present help in trouble.
“Truly I tell you,” Jesus replied, “no one who has left home or brothers or sisters or mother or father or children or fields for me and the gospel will fail to receive a hundred times as much in this present age: homes, brothers, sisters, mothers, children and fields—along with persecutions—and in the age to come eternal life.”So Jesus answered and said, “Assuredly, I say to you, there is no one who has left house or brothers or sisters or father or mother or wife or children or lands, for My sake and the gospel’s, who shall not receive a hundredfold now in this time—houses and brothers and sisters and mothers and children and lands, with persecutions—and in the age to come, eternal life.”
Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.Rejoicing in hope, patient in tribulation, continuing steadfastly in prayer.
Remember your Creator in the days of your youth, before the days of trouble come and the years approach when you will say, “I find no pleasure in them”.Remember now your Creator in the days of your youth, Before the difficult days come, And the years draw near when you say, “I have no pleasure in them”
He has saved us and called us to a holy life—not because of anything we have done but because of his own purpose and grace. This grace was given us in Christ Jesus before the beginning of time.Who has saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace which was given to us in Christ Jesus before time began.
But the wisdom that comes from heaven is first of all pure; then peace-loving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial and sincere.But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy.
Remember, Lord, your great mercy and love, for they are from of old. Do not remember the sins of my youth and my rebellious ways; according to your love remember me, for you, Lord, are good.Remember, O Lord, Your tender mercies and Your lovingkindnesses, For they are from of old. Do not remember the sins of my youth, nor my transgressions; According to Your mercy remember me, For Your goodness’ sake, O Lord.
