- Return to me, says the Lord of hosts, and I will return to you, says the Lord of hosts.
- But the steadfast love of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting
on those who fear him,
and his righteousness to children's children,
to those who keep his covenant
and remember to do his commandments. - So Christ, having been offered once to bear the sins of many, will appear a second time, not to deal with sin, but to save those who are eagerly waiting for him.
- Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded.
- See that none of you repays evil for evil, but always seek to do good to one another and to all.
- It is honorable to refrain from strife,
but every fool is quick to quarrel. - I hurry and do not delay
to keep your commandments. - To get wisdom is to love oneself;
to keep understanding is to prosper. - Now to him who by the power at work within us is able to accomplish abundantly far more than all we can ask or imagine, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.

Only to fear the Lord your God, to walk in all his ways, to love him, to serve the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul, and to keep the commandments of the Lord your God and his decrees that I am commanding you today, for your own well-being.
- Riches and honor come from you, and you rule over all. In your hand are power and might; and it is in your hand to make great and to give strength to all.
- Glory to God in the highest heaven,
and on earth peace among those whom he favors! - For it is written,
“As I live, says the Lord, every knee shall bow to me,
and every tongue shall give praise to God.” - If you will not listen, if you will not lay it to heart to give glory to my name, says the Lord of hosts, then I will send the curse on you and I will curse your blessings; indeed I have already cursed them, because you do not lay it to heart.
- From that time Jesus began to proclaim, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven has come near.”
- For if the eagerness is there, the gift is acceptable according to what one has—not according to what one does not have.
- They devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers.
- Who are you to pass judgment on servants of another? It is before their own lord that they stand or fall. And they will be upheld, for the Lord is able to make them stand.
