Chinese (traditional)Bible Verses about 'True'
- And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.
- And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.
- Thy word is true from the beginning:
and every one of thy righteous judgments endureth for ever. - I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman. Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit.
- Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
- Every word of God is pure:
he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him. - Thus speaketh the Lord of hosts, saying, Execute true judgment, and shew mercy and compassions every man to his brother: And oppress not the widow, nor the fatherless, the stranger, nor the poor; and let none of you imagine evil against his brother in your heart.
- For the word of the Lord is right;
and all his works are done in truth. - For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth.
- As for God, his way is perfect:
the word of the Lord is tried:
he is a buckler to all those that trust in him. - As for God, his way is perfect;
the word of the Lord is tried:
he is a buckler to all them that trust in him. - But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.
- A man that hath friends must shew himself friendly:
and there is a friend that sticketh closer than a brother. - But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.
- And if thou say in thine heart, How shall we know the word which the Lord hath not spoken? When a prophet speaketh in the name of the Lord, if the thing follow not, nor come to pass, that is the thing which the Lord hath not spoken, but the prophet hath spoken it presumptuously: thou shalt not be afraid of him.
- Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons: But in every nation he that feareth him, and worketh righteousness, is accepted with him.
- The wicked worketh a deceitful work:
but to him that soweth righteousness shall be a sure reward. - A friend loveth at all times,
and a brother is born for adversity. - If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth.
- But godliness with contentment is great gain.
- But as for you, ye thought evil against me; but God meant it unto good, to bring to pass, as it is this day, to save much people alive.
- By humility and the fear of the Lord
are riches, and honour, and life. - I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.
- Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.
- The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge:
but fools despise wisdom and instruction.
He that loveth silver shall not be satisfied with silver; nor he that loveth abundance with increase: this is also vanity.For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow: but woe to him that is alone when he falleth; for he hath not another to help him up.
