Chinese (traditional)- I stretch out my hands to you;
my soul thirsts for you like a parched land. Selah - I say to the Lord, “You are my Lord;
I have no good apart from you.” - My lips will shout for joy,
when I sing praises to you;
my soul also, which you have redeemed. - And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.
- Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.
- But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.
- There is a way that seems right to a man,
but its end is the way to death. - For I, the Lord your God,
hold your right hand;
it is I who say to you, “Fear not,
I am the one who helps you.” - About midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the prisoners were listening to them.
- For the Lord God does nothing
without revealing his secret
to his servants the prophets. - Jesus said to them again, “Peace be with you. As the Father has sent me, even so I am sending you.”
- And that to you, O Lord, belongs steadfast love.
For you will render to a man
according to his work. - And being made perfect, he became the source of eternal salvation to all who obey him.
- Likewise, husbands, live with your wives in an understanding way, showing honor to the woman as the weaker vessel, since they are heirs with you of the grace of life, so that your prayers may not be hindered.
- Jesus answered them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, everyone who practices sin is a slave to sin.”
- But as for me, I will look to the Lord;
I will wait for the God of my salvation;
my God will hear me. - To you, O God of my fathers,
I give thanks and praise,
for you have given me wisdom and might,
and have now made known to me what we asked of you,
for you have made known to us the king's matter. - So we can confidently say,
“The Lord is my helper;
I will not fear;
what can man do to me?” - I will give thanks to you, O Lord, among the peoples;
I will sing praises to you among the nations. - I will sing to the Lord as long as I live;
I will sing praise to my God while I have being. - Jesus answered them, “This is the work of God, that you believe in him whom he has sent.”
- But when you fast, anoint your head and wash your face, that your fasting may not be seen by others but by your Father who is in secret. And your Father who sees in secret will reward you.
- Then Peter came up and said to him, “Lord, how often will my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? As many as seven times?” Jesus said to him, “I do not say to you seven times, but seventy-seven times.”
- In God, whose word I praise,
in God I trust; I shall not be afraid.
What can flesh do to me? - If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.
With all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love. Can a woman forget her nursing child,
that she should have no compassion on the son of her womb?
Even these may forget,
yet I will not forget you.
Behold, I have engraved you on the palms of my hands;
your walls are continually before me.Next verse!With image
