- And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself.
- For thus says the Lord to the house of Israel: “Seek me and live.”
- And Jesus answered them, “Truly, I say to you, if you have faith and do not doubt, you will not only do what has been done to the fig tree, but even if you say to this mountain, ‘Be taken up and thrown into the sea,’ it will happen.”
- I acknowledged my sin to you,
and I did not cover my iniquity;
I said, “I will confess my transgressions to the Lord,”
and you forgave the iniquity of my sin. Selah - His divine power has granted to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of him who called us to his own glory and excellence.
- Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
- Do not work for the food that perishes, but for the food that endures to eternal life, which the Son of Man will give to you. For on him God the Father has set his seal.
- And calling the crowd to him with his disciples, he said to them, “If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me.”
- Nevertheless, I tell you the truth: it is to your advantage that I go away, for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you. But if I go, I will send him to you.
- The eyes of the Lord are toward the righteous
and his ears toward their cry. - The end of all things is at hand; therefore be self-controlled and sober-minded for the sake of your prayers.
- The unfolding of your words gives light;
it imparts understanding to the simple. - Every word of God proves true;
he is a shield to those who take refuge in him. - Oh give thanks to the Lord, for he is good;
for his steadfast love endures forever! - So that by God's will I may come to you with joy and be refreshed in your company.
- Sing praises to the Lord, for he has done gloriously;
let this be made known in all the earth. - Oh give thanks to the Lord; call upon his name;
make known his deeds among the peoples! - The Lord is near to all who call on him,
to all who call on him in truth. - And he said to them, “Go into all the world and proclaim the gospel to the whole creation.”
- And Jesus said to him, “‘If you can’! All things are possible for one who believes.”
- And when you fast, do not look gloomy like the hypocrites, for they disfigure their faces that their fasting may be seen by others. Truly, I say to you, they have received their reward.
- May the Lord give strength to his people!
May the Lord bless his people with peace! - You shall not make gods of silver to be with me, nor shall you make for yourselves gods of gold.
- And the Lord God made for Adam and for his wife garments of skins and clothed them.
- Wives, submit to your own husbands, as to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife even as Christ is the head of the church, his body, and is himself its Savior.
