- O Lord, let your kindness rest upon us,

We bless you from the house of the Lord. - The Lord commanded us to observe all of these statutes and to fear the Lord, our God, so that we might always prosper and be kept alive, even as we are today.
- And if we know that he hears us
in regard to whatever we ask him,
we may be sure
that all we ask of him will be ours. - Indeed, it is seldom that anyone will die for a just person, although perhaps for a good person someone might be willing to die. Thus, God proved his love for us in that while we were still sinners Christ died for us.
