Chinese (traditional)- Save now, I beseech thee, O Lord:
O Lord, I beseech thee, send now prosperity.
Blessed be he that cometh in the name of the Lord:
we have blessed you out of the house of the Lord. - For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day.
- For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ.
- Some trust in chariots, and some in horses:
but we will remember the name of the Lord our God. - And this commandment have we from him, That he who loveth God love his brother also.
- No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us.
- And we are his witnesses of these things; and so is also the Holy Ghost, whom God hath given to them that obey him.
- Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.
- For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.
- This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.
- Yea, in the way of thy judgments,
O Lord, have we waited for thee;
the desire of our soul is to thy name,
and to the remembrance of thee. - He is despised and rejected of men;
a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief:
and we hid as it were our faces from him;
he was despised, and we esteemed him not. - And it shall be our righteousness, if we observe to do all these commandments before the Lord our God, as he hath commanded us.
- Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.
- Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures.
- If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
- For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.
- As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.
- Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not.
- Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.
- And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience; And patience, experience; and experience, hope.
- In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace.
- Can any man forbid water, that these should not be baptized, which have received the Holy Ghost as well as we?
- Surely he hath borne our griefs,
and carried our sorrows:
yet we did esteem him stricken,
smitten of God, and afflicted. - And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.Thinkest thou that I cannot now pray to my Father, and he shall presently give me more than twelve legions of angels? Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.Next verse!With image
