- Jesus replied, “What is impossible with man is possible with God.”
- And so I tell you, every kind of sin and slander can be forgiven, but blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven.
- Honor your father and your mother, so that you may live long in the land the Lord your God is giving you.
- “Now then,” said Joshua, “throw away the foreign gods that are among you and yield your hearts to the Lord, the God of Israel.”
- Christ is the culmination of the law so that there may be righteousness for everyone who believes.
- There is a way that appears to be right,
but in the end it leads to death. - Then God said, “I give you every seed-bearing plant on the face of the whole earth and every tree that has fruit with seed in it. They will be yours for food.”
- But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people.”
- Through these he has given us his very great and precious promises, so that through them you may participate in the divine nature, having escaped the corruption in the world caused by evil desires.
- For who knows a person’s thoughts except their own spirit within them? In the same way no one knows the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God.
- And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.
- Everyone comes naked from their mother’s womb,
and as everyone comes, so they depart.
They take nothing from their toil
that they can carry in their hands. - Then God blessed the seventh day and made it holy, because on it he rested from all the work of creating that he had done.
- For you have been born again, not of perishable seed, but of imperishable, through the living and enduring word of God.
- You will have these tassels to look at and so you will remember all the commands of the Lord, that you may obey them and not prostitute yourselves by chasing after the lusts of your own hearts and eyes.
- And I tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not overcome it.
- Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us.
- I urge you, brothers and sisters, to watch out for those who cause divisions and put obstacles in your way that are contrary to the teaching you have learned. Keep away from them.
- If you listen carefully to the Lord your God and do what is right in his eyes, if you pay attention to his commands and keep all his decrees, I will not bring on you any of the diseases I brought on the Egyptians, for I am the Lord, who heals you.
- Trust in the Lord with all your heart
and lean not on your own understanding;
in all your ways submit to him,
and he will make your paths straight. - And he is the head of the body, the church; he is the beginning and the firstborn from among the dead, so that in everything he might have the supremacy.
- Godly sorrow brings repentance that leads to salvation and leaves no regret, but worldly sorrow brings death.
- Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.
- Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies.
- But test them all; hold on to what is good, reject every kind of evil.
But if we hope for what we do not yet have, we wait for it patiently. Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.Next verse!With image
