This same Jesus, who was taken up from you into heaven, will so come in like manner as you saw Him go into heaven.”
Your kindness is a greater joy than life itself; thus my lips will speak your praise. I will bless you all my life; with uplifted hands I will call on your name.Because Your lovingkindness is better than life, My lips shall praise You. Thus I will bless You while I live; I will lift up my hands in Your name.
While physical training has some value, the benefits of godliness are unlimited, since it holds out promise not only for this life but also for the life to come.For bodily exercise profits a little, but godliness is profitable for all things, having promise of the life that now is and of that which is to come.

Authority will be granted to the diligent, but the lazy will be enslaved.The hand of the diligent will rule, But the lazy man will be put to forced labor.
For our eyes are fixed not on what is seen but rather on that which cannot be seen. Then Peter asked, “Ananias, why has Satan so gained control of your heart that you lied to the Holy Spirit and retained part of the sale price of the land? While it remained unsold, did it not belong to you? And after it was sold, were not the proceeds yours? What caused you to contrive this scheme? You have lied not to men but to God.”But Peter said, “Ananias, why has Satan filled your heart to lie to the Holy Spirit and keep back part of the price of the land for yourself? While it remained, was it not your own? And after it was sold, was it not in your own control? Why have you conceived this thing in your heart? You have not lied to men but to God.”

A man’s pride will bring him low, but lowly souls will rise to honor.A man’s pride will bring him low, But the humble in spirit will retain honor.
