- Oh how great is your goodness,
which you have laid up for those who fear you,
which you have worked for those who take refuge in you,
before the sons of men! - Those who love your law have great peace.
Nothing causes them to stumble. - He who walks blamelessly and does what is right,
and speaks truth in his heart;
he who doesn’t slander with his tongue,
nor does evil to his friend,
nor casts slurs against his fellow man. - And said to them, “Whoever receives this little child in my name receives me. Whoever receives me receives him who sent me. For whoever is least among you all, this one will be great.”
- For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit.

Blessed is the man who takes refuge in him. - But he said, “On the contrary, blessed are those who hear the word of God, and keep it.”
- But Yahweh’s loving kindness is from everlasting to everlasting with those who fear him,
his righteousness to children’s children,
to those who keep his covenant,
to those who remember to obey his precepts. - Every word of God is flawless.
He is a shield to those who take refuge in him. - Who is wise and understanding among you? Let him show by his good conduct that his deeds are done in gentleness of wisdom.
- He who keeps the commandment keeps his soul,
but he who is contemptuous in his ways shall die. - He who walks blamelessly walks surely,
but he who perverts his ways will be found out. - Lying lips are an abomination to Yahweh,
but those who do the truth are his delight. - No one has seen God at any time. The only born Son, who is in the bosom of the Father, has declared him.
- Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness,
for they shall be filled. - Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ.
- He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who disbelieves will be condemned.
- Yes, and all who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution.
- Who are you who judge another’s servant? To his own lord he stands or falls. Yes, he will be made to stand, for God has power to make him stand.
- Pride only breeds quarrels,
but wisdom is with people who take advice.
