He sat down, called the twelve, and said to them, “Whoever wants to be first must be last of all and servant of all.”Sitting down, Jesus called the Twelve and said, “Anyone who wants to be first must be the very last, and the servant of all.”
God abides in those who confess that Jesus is the Son of God, and they abide in God.If anyone acknowledges that Jesus is the Son of God, God lives in them and they in God.
The fear of others lays a snare, but one who trusts in the Lord is secure.Fear of man will prove to be a snare, but whoever trusts in the Lord is kept safe.
A fool despises a parent's instruction, but the one who heeds admonition is prudent.A fool spurns a parent’s discipline, but whoever heeds correction shows prudence.
I am the gate. Whoever enters by me will be saved, and will come in and go out and find pasture.I am the gate; whoever enters through me will be saved. They will come in and go out, and find pasture.

Therefore you have no excuse, whoever you are, when you judge others; for in passing judgment on another you condemn yourself, because you, the judge, are doing the very same things.You, therefore, have no excuse, you who pass judgment on someone else, for at whatever point you judge another, you are condemning yourself, because you who pass judgment do the same things.
Those who are attentive to a matter will prosper, and happy are those who trust in the Lord.Whoever gives heed to instruction prospers, and blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord.
Those who find their life will lose it, and those who lose their life for my sake will find it.Whoever finds their life will lose it, and whoever loses their life for my sake will find it.
The one who believes and is baptized will be saved; but the one who does not believe will be condemned.Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned.
Again Jesus spoke to them, saying, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness but will have the light of life.”When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”
For, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.”For, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”
There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear; for fear has to do with punishment, and whoever fears has not reached perfection in love.There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love.
And without faith it is impossible to please God, for whoever would approach him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him.And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.
Since therefore Christ suffered in the flesh, arm yourselves also with the same intention (for whoever has suffered in the flesh has finished with sin).Therefore, since Christ suffered in his body, arm yourselves also with the same attitude, because whoever suffers in the body is done with sin.
No one who conceals transgressions will prosper, but one who confesses and forsakes them will obtain mercy.Whoever conceals their sins does not prosper, but the one who confesses and renounces them finds mercy.
And whoever does not provide for relatives, and especially for family members, has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.Anyone who does not provide for their relatives, and especially for their own household, has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.
I am the living bread that came down from heaven. Whoever eats of this bread will live forever; and the bread that I will give for the life of the world is my flesh.I am the living bread that came down from heaven. But those who drink of the water that I will give them will never be thirsty. The water that I will give will become in them a spring of water gushing up to eternal life.But whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give them will become in them a spring of water welling up to eternal life.
Then everyone who calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.And everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.
For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him may not perish but may have eternal life.For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
How does God's love abide in anyone who has the world's goods and sees a brother or sister in need and yet refuses help?If anyone has material possessions and sees a brother or sister in need but has no pity on them, how can the love of God be in that person?
Those who keep the commandment will live; those who are heedless of their ways will die.Whoever keeps commandments keeps their life, but whoever shows contempt for their ways will die.
Truly I tell you, if you say to this mountain, ‘Be taken up and thrown into the sea,’ and if you do not doubt in your heart, but believe that what you say will come to pass, it will be done for you.Truly I tell you, if anyone says to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and does not doubt in their heart but believes that what they say will happen, it will be done for them.

Those who eat my flesh and drink my blood abide in me, and I in them.Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood remains in me, and I in them.
