Those who believe in him are not condemned; but those who do not believe are condemned already, because they have not believed in the name of the only Son of God. For whatever is born of God conquers the world. And this is the victory that conquers the world, our faith. 1 John 5:4	For everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith. faith God overcoming
To get wisdom is to love oneself; to keep understanding is to prosper. Proverbs 19:8	The one who gets wisdom loves life; the one who cherishes understanding will soon prosper. wisdom life mind
The commandment we have from him is this: those who love God must love their brothers and sisters also. 1 John 4:21	And he has given us this command: Anyone who loves God must also love their brother and sister. law love friendship
The point is this: the one who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and the one who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. 2 Corinthians 9:6	Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously. giving harvest generosity
But those who do what is true come to the light, so that it may be clearly seen that their deeds have been done in God. John 3:21	But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what they have done has been done in the sight of God. light truth obedience

When words are many, transgression is not lacking, but the prudent are restrained in speech. Proverbs 10:19	Sin is not ended by multiplying words, but the prudent hold their tongues. sin speaking
So we have known and believe the love that God has for us. God is love, and those who abide in love abide in God, and God abides in them. 1 John 4:16	And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in them. trust love God
One who forgives an affront fosters friendship, but one who dwells on disputes will alienate a friend. Proverbs 17:9	Whoever would foster love covers over an offense, but whoever repeats the matter separates close friends. forgiveness friendship
Bear with one another and, if anyone has a complaint against another, forgive each other; just as the Lord has forgiven you, so you also must forgive. Colossians 3:13	Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. forgiveness peace neighbor
Everyone who commits sin is guilty of lawlessness; sin is lawlessness. 1 John 3:4	Everyone who sins breaks the law; in fact, sin is lawlessness. sin law righteousness
He who finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favor from the Lord. Proverbs 18:22	He who finds a wife finds what is good and receives favor from the Lord. blessing marriage seeking
They who have my commandments and keep them are those who love me; and those who love me will be loved by my Father, and I will love them and reveal myself to them. John 14:21	Whoever has my commands and keeps them is the one who loves me. The one who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I too will love them and show myself to them. law love Father

Those who say, “I love God,” and hate their brothers or sisters, are liars; for those who do not love a brother or sister whom they have seen, cannot love God whom they have not seen. 1 John 4:20	Whoever claims to love God yet hates a brother or sister is a liar. A generous person will be enriched, and one who gives water will get water. Proverbs 11:25	A generous person will prosper; whoever refreshes others will be refreshed. generosity food giving
Like a city breached, without walls, is one who lacks self-control. Proverbs 25:28	Like a city whose walls are broken through is a person who lacks self-control. self-control desires

Jesus answered them, “Very truly, I tell you, everyone who commits sin is a slave to sin.”

Jesus replied, “Very truly I tell you, everyone who sins is a slave to sin.”
