- Yet for us there is one God, the Father, from whom are all things and for whom we exist, and one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom are all things and through whom we exist.
- Pay to all what is owed to them: taxes to whom taxes are owed, revenue to whom revenue is owed, respect to whom respect is owed, honor to whom honor is owed.
- The Lord is my light and my salvation;
whom shall I fear?
The Lord is the stronghold of my life;
of whom shall I be afraid? - Whom have I in heaven but you?
And there is nothing on earth that I desire besides you. - If anyone says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen cannot love God whom he has not seen.
- And I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?” Then I said, “Here I am! Send me.”
- And behold, a voice from heaven said, “This is my beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased.”
- My son, do not despise the Lord's discipline
or be weary of his reproof,
for the Lord reproves him whom he loves,
as a father the son in whom he delights. - Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due,
when it is in your power to do it. - Behold, blessed is the one whom God reproves;
therefore despise not the discipline of the Almighty. - Glory to God in the highest,
and on earth peace among those with whom he is pleased! - Jesus answered them, “This is the work of God, that you believe in him whom he has sent.”
- And we are witnesses to these things, and so is the Holy Spirit, whom God has given to those who obey him.
- And this is eternal life, that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom you have sent.
- Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord,
the people whom he has chosen as his heritage! - Those whom I love, I reprove and discipline, so be zealous and repent.
- I love you, O Lord, my strength.
The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer,
my God, my rock, in whom I take refuge,
my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. - But when the Helper comes, whom I will send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth, who proceeds from the Father, he will bear witness about me.
- “Let the one who boasts, boast in the Lord.” For it is not the one who commends himself who is approved, but the one whom the Lord commends.
- But the one who did not know, and did what deserved a beating, will receive a light beating. Everyone to whom much was given, of him much will be required, and from him to whom they entrusted much, they will demand the more.
- But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you.
- I myself did not know him, but he who sent me to baptize with water said to me, ‘He on whom you see the Spirit descend and remain, this is he who baptizes with the Holy Spirit.’
- And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.
- He has delivered us from the domain of darkness and transferred us to the kingdom of his beloved Son, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.
- Everyone also to whom God has given wealth and possessions and power to enjoy them, and to accept his lot and rejoice in his toil—this is the gift of God.
God is faithful, by whom you were called into the fellowship of his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.He only is my rock and my salvation,
my fortress; I shall not be shaken. Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you.Next verse!With image
