When it is in the power of your hand to do so. - Behold, happy is the man whom God corrects;
Therefore do not despise the chastening of the Almighty. - Jesus answered and said to them, “This is the work of God, that you believe in Him whom He sent.”
- And we are His witnesses to these things, and so also is the Holy Spirit whom God has given to those who obey Him.
- And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent.
- Glory to God in the highest,
And on earth peace, goodwill toward men! - And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.
- But “he who glories, let him glory in the Lord.” For not he who commends himself is approved, but whom the Lord commends.
- But when the Helper comes, whom I shall send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth who proceeds from the Father, He will testify of Me.

- For of Him and through Him and to Him are all things, to whom be glory forever. Amen.
- And if it seems evil to you to serve the Lord, choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the River, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you dwell. But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.

A Man of sorrows and acquainted with grief.
And we hid, as it were, our faces from Him;
He was despised, and we did not esteem Him. - Then he said to them, “Go your way, eat the fat, drink the sweet, and send portions to those for whom nothing is prepared; for this day is holy to our Lord. Do not sorrow, for the joy of the Lord is your strength.”
- Now may the God of peace who brought up our Lord Jesus from the dead, that great Shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant, make you complete in every good work to do His will, working in you what is well pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen.

But the ruler of the synagogue answered with indignation, because Jesus had healed on the Sabbath; and he said to the crowd, “There are six days on which men ought to work; therefore come and be healed on them, and not on the Sabbath day.”
The Lord then answered him and said, “Hypocrite! Does not each one of you on the Sabbath loose his ox or donkey from the stall, and lead it away to water it? So ought not this woman, being a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan has bound—think of it—for eighteen years, be loosed from this bond on the Sabbath?” And when He said these things, all His adversaries were put to shame; and all the multitude rejoiced for all the glorious things that were done by Him. - Heal me, O Lord, and I shall be healed;
Save me, and I shall be saved,
For You are my praise. - In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace.
