Bible Verses about 'Whom'

  • Yet for us there is one God, the Father, from whom are all things and for whom we exist, and one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom are all things and through whom we exist.
  • Pay to all what is due them—taxes to whom taxes are due, revenue to whom revenue is due, respect to whom respect is due, honor to whom honor is due.
  • The Lord is my light and my salvation;
    whom shall I fear?
    The Lord is the stronghold of my life;
    of whom shall I be afraid?
  • Whom have I in heaven but you?
    And there is nothing on earth that I desire other than you.
  • Those who say, “I love God,” and hate their brothers or sisters, are liars; for those who do not love a brother or sister whom they have seen, cannot love God whom they have not seen.
  • Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?” And I said, “Here am I; send me!”
  • Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due,
    when it is in your power to do it.
  • How happy is the one whom God reproves;
    therefore do not despise the discipline of the Almighty.
  • Glory to God in the highest heaven,
    and on earth peace among those whom he favors!
  • Jesus answered them, “This is the work of God, that you believe in him whom he has sent.”
  • My child, do not despise the Lord's discipline
    or be weary of his reproof,
    for the Lord reproves the one he loves,
    as a father the son in whom he delights.
  • And we are witnesses to these things, and so is the Holy Spirit whom God has given to those who obey him.
  • And this is eternal life, that they may know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom you have sent.
  • Happy is the nation whose God is the Lord,
    the people whom he has chosen as his heritage.
  • I reprove and discipline those whom I love. Be earnest, therefore, and repent.
  • Likewise all to whom God gives wealth and possessions and whom he enables to enjoy them, and to accept their lot and find enjoyment in their toil—this is the gift of God.
  • When the Advocate comes, whom I will send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth who comes from the Father, he will testify on my behalf.
  • But the one who did not know and did what deserved a beating will receive a light beating. From everyone to whom much has been given, much will be required; and from the one to whom much has been entrusted, even more will be demanded.
  • I love you, O Lord, my strength.
    The Lord is my rock, my fortress, and my deliverer,
    my God, my rock in whom I take refuge,
    my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.
  • “Let the one who boasts, boast in the Lord.” For it is not those who commend themselves that are approved, but those whom the Lord commends.
  • But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you everything, and remind you of all that I have said to you.
  • I myself did not know him, but the one who sent me to baptize with water said to me, ‘He on whom you see the Spirit descend and remain is the one who baptizes with the Holy Spirit.’
  • He has rescued us from the power of darkness and transferred us into the kingdom of his beloved Son, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.
  • Father, I desire that those also, whom you have given me, may be with me where I am, to see my glory, which you have given me because you loved me before the foundation of the world.
  • Every generous act of giving, with every perfect gift, is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow due to change.

Do not be like your ancestors, to whom the former prophets proclaimed, “Thus says the Lord of hosts, Return from your evil ways and from your evil deeds.” But they did not hear or heed me, says the Lord.
