So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed. | If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed. |
No, I tell you; but unless you repent, you will all likewise perish. | I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish. |
Whatever you ask in my name, this I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. | And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. |
Indeed, all who desire to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted. | Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution. |
Nevertheless, I tell you the truth: it is to your advantage that I go away, for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you. But if I go, I will send him to you. | Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you. |
Wealth gained hastily will dwindle, but whoever gathers little by little will increase it. | Wealth gotten by vanity shall be diminished: but he that gathereth by labour shall increase. |
