Chinese (traditional)- Observe my Sabbaths and have reverence for my sanctuary. I am the Lord.
- I love you, Lord, my strength.
The Lord is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer;
my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge,
my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. - Give praise to the Lord, proclaim his name;
make known among the nations what he has done. - Taste and see that the Lord is good;
blessed is the one who takes refuge in him. - “For my thoughts are not your thoughts,
neither are your ways my ways,”
declares the Lord. - The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears them;
he delivers them from all their troubles.
The Lord is close to the brokenhearted
and saves those who are crushed in spirit. - Restore us, Lord God Almighty;
make your face shine on us,
that we may be saved. - The Lord is a refuge for the oppressed,
a stronghold in times of trouble. - The righteous person may have many troubles,
but the Lord delivers him from them all. - I say to the Lord, “You are my Lord;
apart from you I have no good thing.” - Sing to the Lord, for he has done glorious things;
let this be known to all the world. - Some trust in chariots and some in horses,
but we trust in the name of the Lord our God. - The Lord loves righteousness and justice;
the earth is full of his unfailing love. - The Lord God made garments of skin for Adam and his wife and clothed them.
- The Lord detests lying lips,
but he delights in people who are trustworthy. - I keep my eyes always on the Lord.
With him at my right hand, I will not be shaken. - I am the Lord your God; follow my decrees and be careful to keep my laws. Keep my Sabbaths holy, that they may be a sign between us. Then you will know that I am the Lord your God.
- Houses and wealth are inherited from parents,
but a prudent wife is from the Lord. - The Lord is slow to anger but great in power;
the Lord will not leave the guilty unpunished.
His way is in the whirlwind and the storm,
and clouds are the dust of his feet. - And now, Israel, what does the Lord your God ask of you but to fear the Lord your God, to walk in obedience to him, to love him, to serve the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul, and to observe the Lord’s commands and decrees that I am giving you today for your own good?
- I will give thanks to you, Lord, with all my heart;
I will tell of all your wonderful deeds. - Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good;
his love endures forever. - Praise the Lord.
Blessed are those who fear the Lord,
who find great delight in his commands. - In peace I will lie down and sleep,
for you alone, Lord,
make me dwell in safety. - Surely, Lord, you bless the righteous;
you surround them with your favor as with a shield.
And we all, who with unveiled faces contemplate the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his image with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.
