Don’t you realize that all of you together are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God lives in you? | Do you not know that you are God's temple and that God's Spirit dwells in you? |
If you had really known me, you would know who my Father is. From now on, you do know him and have seen him! | If you had known me, you would have known my Father also. From now on you do know him and have seen him. |
You may think you can condemn such people, but you are just as bad, and you have no excuse! When you say they are wicked and should be punished, you are condemning yourself, for you who judge others do these very same things. | Therefore you have no excuse, O man, every one of you who judges. For in passing judgment on another you condemn yourself, because you, the judge, practice the very same things. |
You have already been pruned and purified by the message I have given you. | Already you are clean because of the word that I have spoken to you. |
But I say, love your enemies! Pray for those who persecute you! | But I say to you, Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you. |
If you look for me wholeheartedly, you will find me. | You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart. |
If you love me, obey my commandments. | If you love me, you will keep my commandments. |
Those who know your name trust in you, for you, O Lord, do not abandon those who search for you. | And those who know your name put their trust in you, for you, O Lord, have not forsaken those who seek you. |
The Lord himself will fight for you. Just stay calm. | The Lord will fight for you, and you have only to be silent. |
If you forgive those who sin against you, your heavenly Father will forgive you. | For if you forgive others their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. |
You know what I long for, Lord; you hear my every sigh. | O Lord, all my longing is before you; my sighing is not hidden from you. |
You have tested us, O God; you have purified us like silver. | For you, O God, have tested us; you have tried us as silver is tried. |
When God raised up his servant, Jesus, he sent him first to you people of Israel, to bless you by turning each of you back from your sinful ways. | God, having raised up his servant, sent him to you first, to bless you by turning every one of you from your wickedness. |

The Lord your God will bless you as he has promised. You will lend money to many nations but will never need to borrow. You will rule many nations, but they will not rule over you. | For the Lord your God will bless you, as he promised you, and you shall lend to many nations, but you shall not borrow, and you shall rule over many nations, but they shall not rule over you. |
I ask you again, does God give you the Holy Spirit and work miracles among you because you obey the law? Of course not! It is because you believe the message you heard about Christ. | Does he who supplies the Spirit to you and works miracles among you do so by works of the law, or by hearing with faith? |
Again he said, “Peace be with you. As the Father has sent me, so I am sending you.” | Jesus said to them again, “Peace be with you. As the Father has sent me, even so I am sending you.” |
O God, you are my God; I earnestly search for you. My soul thirsts for you; my whole body longs for you in this parched and weary land where there is no water. | O God, you are my God; earnestly I seek you; my soul thirsts for you; my flesh faints for you, as in a dry and weary land where there is no water. |
Ask me and I will tell you remarkable secrets you do not know about things to come. | Call to me and I will answer you, and will tell you great and hidden things that you have not known. |
For you are my hiding place; you protect me from trouble. You surround me with songs of victory. | You are a hiding place for me; you preserve me from trouble; you surround me with shouts of deliverance. Selah |
Stay on the path that the Lord your God has commanded you to follow. Then you will live long and prosperous lives in the land you are about to enter and occupy. | You shall walk in all the way that the Lord your God has commanded you, that you may live, and that it may go well with you, and that you may live long in the land that you shall possess. |
Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand. | Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. |
