- Yea, in the way of thy judgments,
O Lord, have we waited for thee;
the desire of our soul is to thy name,
and to the remembrance of thee. - O God, thou art my God;
early will I seek thee:
my soul thirsteth for thee,
my flesh longeth for thee
in a dry and thirsty land,
where no water is. - And the Lord make you to increase and abound in love one toward another, and toward all men, even as we do toward you.
- Rejoice evermore. Pray without ceasing. In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.
- Yea, though I walk
through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil:
for thou art with me;
thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. - Ye shall not make with me gods of silver, neither shall ye make unto you gods of gold.
- Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you.
- Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.
- For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps.
- For thou art my rock and my fortress;
therefore for thy name's sake lead me, and guide me. - For I am in a strait betwixt two, having a desire to depart, and to be with Christ; which is far better: Nevertheless to abide in the flesh is more needful for you.
- Nevertheless for thy great mercies' sake thou didst not utterly consume them, nor forsake them; for thou art a gracious and merciful God.
- For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.
- Since thou wast precious in my sight,
thou hast been honourable, and I have loved thee:
therefore will I give men for thee,
and people for thy life. - But I will sing of thy power;
yea, I will sing aloud of thy mercy in the morning:
for thou hast been my defence
and refuge in the day of my trouble. - There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.
- Also unto thee, O Lord, belongeth mercy:
for thou renderest to every man
according to his work. - O Lord, thou art my God;
I will exalt thee, I will praise thy name;
for thou hast done wonderful things;
thy counsels of old
are faithfulness and truth. - These ye shall eat of all that are in the waters: all that have fins and scales shall ye eat: And whatsoever hath not fins and scales ye may not eat; it is unclean unto you.
- For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise.
- For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.
- Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience.
- For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.
- And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favour with God. And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name Jesus.
- For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.
And if thy right eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell.A fool despiseth his father's instruction:
but he that regardeth reproof is prudent. But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.Next verse!With image
