- Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.
- Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them.
- Wash you, make you clean;
put away the evil of your doings
from before mine eyes;
cease to do evil. - The fear of the Lord is to hate evil:
pride, and arrogancy, and the evil way,
and the froward mouth, do I hate. - Nevertheless, to avoid fornication, let every man have his own wife, and let every woman have her own husband.
