- When a crime is not punished quickly, people feel it is safe to do wrong.
- For wherever there is jealousy and selfish ambition, there you will find disorder and evil of every kind.
- Be careful then, dear brothers and sisters. Make sure that your own hearts are not evil and unbelieving, turning you away from the living God.

or harm their neighbors
or speak evil of their friends. - Be still in the presence of the Lord,
and wait patiently for him to act.
Don’t worry about evil people who prosper
or fret about their wicked schemes. - Don’t be fooled by those who say such things, for “bad company corrupts good character.”
- Evil people get rich for the moment,
but the reward of the godly will last. - The Lord keeps you from all harm
and watches over your life.
The Lord keeps watch over you as you come and go,
both now and forever. - You intended to harm me, but God intended it all for good. He brought me to this position so I could save the lives of many people.
