- Jesus said to him, “If you are able!—All things can be done for the one who believes.”
- Live in harmony with one another; do not be haughty, but associate with the lowly; do not claim to be wiser than you are.
- And now I am about to go the way of all the earth, and you know in your hearts and souls, all of you, that not one thing has failed of all the good things that the Lord your God promised concerning you; all have come to pass for you, not one of them has failed.
- Observe the sabbath day and keep it holy, as the Lord your God commanded you. Six days you shall labor and do all your work. But the seventh day is a sabbath to the Lord your God; you shall not do any work—you, or your son or your daughter, or your male or female slave, or your ox or your donkey, or any of your livestock, or the resident alien in your towns, so that your male and female slave may rest as well as you.

my lips will praise you.
So I will bless you as long as I live;
I will lift up my hands and call on your name. - Let the same mind be in you that was in Christ Jesus.
- I delight in the way of your decrees
as much as in all riches. - For Christ is the end of the law so that there may be righteousness for everyone who believes.
- Remember the sabbath day, and keep it holy. Six days you shall labor and do all your work. But the seventh day is a sabbath to the Lord your God; you shall not do any work—you, your son or your daughter, your male or female slave, your livestock, or the alien resident in your towns. For in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that is in them, but rested the seventh day; therefore the Lord blessed the sabbath day and consecrated it.
- Husbands, in the same way, show consideration for your wives in your life together, paying honor to the woman as the weaker sex, since they too are also heirs of the gracious gift of life—so that nothing may hinder your prayers.
- Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life; whoever disobeys the Son will not see life, but must endure God's wrath.
- “Ananias,” Peter asked, “why has Satan filled your heart to lie to the Holy Spirit and to keep back part of the proceeds of the land? While it remained unsold, did it not remain your own? And after it was sold, were not the proceeds at your disposal? How is it that you have contrived this deed in your heart? You did not lie to us but to God!”
- But you, beloved, build yourselves up on your most holy faith; pray in the Holy Spirit; keep yourselves in the love of God; look forward to the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ that leads to eternal life.
- One who is slow to anger is better than the mighty,
and one whose temper is controlled than one who captures a city. - My child, do not forget my teaching,
but let your heart keep my commandments;
for length of days and years of life
and abundant welfare they will give you. - Rejoice in hope, be patient in suffering, persevere in prayer.
- Be strong, and let your heart take courage,
all you who wait for the Lord. - For one believes with the heart and so is justified, and one confesses with the mouth and so is saved.
- Honor your father and your mother, so that your days may be long in the land that the Lord your God is giving you.
- Rend your hearts and not your clothing.
Return to the Lord, your God,
for he is gracious and merciful,
slow to anger, and abounding in steadfast love,
and relents from punishing. - Whatever you ask for in prayer with faith, you will receive.
- Do not wear yourself out to get rich;
be wise enough to desist. - Each of you must give as you have made up your mind, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.
- Keep my steps steady according to your promise,
and never let iniquity have dominion over me. - Then Jesus said to the Jews who had believed in him, “If you continue in my word, you are truly my disciples; and you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free.”
