- For who is God, save the Lord?
and who is a rock, save our God? - Salvation belongeth unto the Lord:
thy blessing is upon thy people. Selah. - The Lord is on my side; I will not fear:
what can man do unto me? - A man's heart deviseth his way:
but the Lord directeth his steps. - It is better to trust in the Lord
than to put confidence in man. - For thus saith the Lord unto the house of Israel, Seek ye me, and ye shall live.
- And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.
- Let us search and try our ways,
and turn again to the Lord. - The Lord is righteous in all his ways,
and holy in all his works. - The Lord maketh poor, and maketh rich:
he bringeth low, and lifteth up. - For whoso findeth me findeth life,
and shall obtain favour of the Lord. - Therefore shall ye keep my commandments, and do them: I am the Lord.
- I sought the Lord, and he heard me,
and delivered me from all my fears. - Save now, I beseech thee, O Lord:
O Lord, I beseech thee, send now prosperity.
Blessed be he that cometh in the name of the Lord:
we have blessed you out of the house of the Lord. - For the word of the Lord is right;
and all his works are done in truth. - Commit thy works unto the Lord,
and thy thoughts shall be established. - Seek ye the Lord while he may be found,
call ye upon him while he is near. - Blessed are the undefiled in the way,
who walk in the law of the Lord. - By humility and the fear of the Lord
are riches, and honour, and life. - Blessed be the Lord, who daily loadeth us with benefits,
even the God of our salvation. Selah. - Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.
- This is the day which the Lord hath made;
we will rejoice and be glad in it. - O my soul, thou hast said unto the Lord, Thou art my Lord:
my goodness extendeth not to thee. - The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord:
and he delighteth in his way. - The Lord also will be a refuge for the oppressed,
a refuge in times of trouble.
For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear. Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.Next verse!With image
