- Now a mediator is not a mediator of one, but God is one.
- Wherefore now let the fear of the Lord be upon you; take heed and do it: for there is no iniquity with the Lord our God, nor respect of persons, nor taking of gifts.

neither shall fruit be in the vines;
the labour of the olive shall fail,

and there shall be no herd in the stalls:
Yet I will rejoice in the Lord,

therefore will he teach sinners in the way.
The meek will he guide in judgment:
and the meek will he teach his way. - Except the Lord build the house,
they labour in vain that build it:
except the Lord keep the city,
the watchman waketh but in vain. - For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh.
- As in water face answereth to face,
so the heart of man to man. - The ransom of a man's life are his riches:
but the poor heareth not rebuke. - Also unto thee, O Lord, belongeth mercy:
for thou renderest to every man
according to his work. - As far as the east is from the west,
so far hath he removed our transgressions from us. - Beloved, if our heart condemn us not, then have we confidence toward God. And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight.
- Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?
- The wicked worketh a deceitful work:
but to him that soweth righteousness shall be a sure reward. - For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
- He that covereth his sins shall not prosper:
but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy. - Are not five sparrows sold for two farthings, and not one of them is forgotten before God? But even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not therefore: ye are of more value than many sparrows.
- Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
- Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.
- Let that therefore abide in you, which ye have heard from the beginning. If that which ye have heard from the beginning shall remain in you, ye also shall continue in the Son, and in the Father.
- For the Lord loveth judgment,
and forsaketh not his saints;
they are preserved for ever:
but the seed of the wicked shall be cut off. - The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
- But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.
- For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.
- He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.
- He hath made every thing beautiful in his time: also he hath set the world in their heart, so that no man can find out the work that God maketh from the beginning to the end.
But he that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord. For not he that commendeth himself is approved, but whom the Lord commendeth. Prove all things; hold fast that which is good. Abstain from all appearance of evil.Next verse!With image
