- Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not commit adultery: But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart.

- And the Lord make you to increase and abound in love one toward another, and toward all men, even as we do toward you.
- Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.
- And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.
- Every man also to whom God hath given riches and wealth, and hath given him power to eat thereof, and to take his portion, and to rejoice in his labour; this is the gift of God.

for thou renderest to every man
according to his work. - The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
- He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.
- As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.
- A man hath joy by the answer of his mouth:
and a word spoken in due season, how good is it! - Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also.
- I know that there is no good in them, but for a man to rejoice, and to do good in his life. And also that every man should eat and drink, and enjoy the good of all his labour, it is the gift of God.
- And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.
