- These things God has revealed to us through the Spirit. For the Spirit searches everything, even the depths of God.
- For who is God, but the Lord?
And who is a rock, except our God? - My son, do not forget my teaching,
but let your heart keep my commandments,
for length of days and years of life
and peace they will add to you. - Whoever makes a practice of sinning is of the devil, for the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the works of the devil.
- For who is God, but the Lord?
And who is a rock, except our God? - Give us this day our daily bread.
- If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
- The Rock, his work is perfect,
for all his ways are justice.
A God of faithfulness and without iniquity,
just and upright is he. - Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for he who promised is faithful.
- And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth.
- And hope does not put us to shame, because God's love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us.
- So we have come to know and to believe the love that God has for us. God is love, and whoever abides in love abides in God, and God abides in him.
- Let each of us please his neighbor for his good, to build him up.
- For so the Lord has commanded us, saying,
‘I have made you a light for the Gentiles,
that you may bring salvation to the ends of the earth.’ - All this is from God, who through Christ reconciled us to himself and gave us the ministry of reconciliation.
- We love because he first loved us.
- Likewise the Spirit helps us in our weakness. For we do not know what to pray for as we ought, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words.
- So teach us to number our days
that we may get a heart of wisdom. - And we know that the Son of God has come and has given us understanding, so that we may know him who is true; and we are in him who is true, in his Son Jesus Christ. He is the true God and eternal life.
- And Jesus said to him, “‘If you can’! All things are possible for one who believes.”
- And Paul said, “John baptized with the baptism of repentance, telling the people to believe in the one who was to come after him, that is, Jesus.”
- And this is the testimony, that God gave us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.
- Do not be anxious about your life, what you will eat, nor about your body, what you will put on. For life is more than food, and the body more than clothing.
- For freedom Christ has set us free; stand firm therefore, and do not submit again to a yoke of slavery.
- The heavens declare the glory of God,
and the sky above proclaims his handiwork.
Day to day pours out speech,
and night to night reveals knowledge.
