Shout aloud, O daughter of Jerusalem!
Behold, your king is coming to you;
righteous and having salvation is he,
humble and mounted on a donkey,
on a colt, the foal of a donkey. - And God said, “Behold, I have given you every plant yielding seed that is on the face of all the earth, and every tree with seed in its fruit. You shall have them for food.”
- But as for me, I will look to the Lord;
I will wait for the God of my salvation;
my God will hear me. - For nothing will be impossible with God.
- Have mercy on me, O God,
according to your steadfast love;
according to your abundant mercy
blot out my transgressions.
Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity,
and cleanse me from my sin! - If possible, so far as it depends on you, live peaceably with all.
- Wake up from your drunken stupor, as is right, and do not go on sinning. For some have no knowledge of God. I say this to your shame.
- And God blessed them. And God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth and subdue it, and have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over every living thing that moves on the earth.”
- For there is one God, and there is one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus.
- So flee youthful passions and pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace, along with those who call on the Lord from a pure heart.
- For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit set their minds on the things of the Spirit.
- In God, whose word I praise,
in God I trust; I shall not be afraid.
What can flesh do to me? - May my teaching drop as the rain,
my speech distill as the dew,
like gentle rain upon the tender grass,
and like showers upon the herb. - Blessings are on the head of the righteous,
but the mouth of the wicked conceals violence. - If anyone destroys God's temple, God will destroy him. For God's temple is holy, and you are that temple.
- Preserve me, O God, for in you I take refuge.
- He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we might die to sin and live to righteousness. By his wounds you have been healed.
- Turn back, and say to Hezekiah the leader of my people, Thus says the Lord, the God of David your father: I have heard your prayer; I have seen your tears. Behold, I will heal you. On the third day you shall go up to the house of the Lord.
- Can a woman forget her nursing child,
that she should have no compassion on the son of her womb?
Even these may forget,
yet I will not forget you.
Behold, I have engraved you on the palms of my hands;
your walls are continually before me. - No one after lighting a lamp covers it with a jar or puts it under a bed, but puts it on a stand, so that those who enter may see the light.
- On the last day of the feast, the great day, Jesus stood up and cried out, “If anyone thirsts, let him come to me and drink.”
- You keep him in perfect peace
whose mind is stayed on you,
because he trusts in you. - The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit;
a broken and contrite heart, O God, you will not despise. - No one has ever seen God; if we love one another, God abides in us and his love is perfected in us.
- Salvation belongs to the Lord;
