Chinese (traditional)- The Lord is good,
a strong hold in the day of trouble;
and he knoweth them that trust in him. - The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger:
but they that seek the Lord shall not want any good thing. - For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.
- A merry heart doeth good like a medicine:
but a broken spirit drieth the bones. - Behold, how good and how pleasant it is
for brethren to dwell together in unity! - Whoso findeth a wife findeth a good thing,
and obtaineth favour of the Lord. - For he that will love life, and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips that they speak no guile: Let him eschew evil, and do good; let him seek peace, and ensue it.
- Let no man seek his own, but every man another's wealth.
- Two are better than one; because they have a good reward for their labour.
- Jesus answered and said unto them, Verily I say unto you, If ye have faith, and doubt not, ye shall not only do this which is done to the fig tree, but also if ye shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; it shall be done.
- I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.
- But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets; Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference.
- And the Lord God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him.
- Withhold not good from them to whom it is due,
when it is in the power of thine hand to do it. - For thou, Lord, art good, and ready to forgive;
and plenteous in mercy unto all them that call upon thee. - Seek good, and not evil,
that ye may live:
and so the Lord, the God of hosts, shall be with you,
as ye have spoken. - A man hath joy by the answer of his mouth:
and a word spoken in due season, how good is it! - O my soul, thou hast said unto the Lord, Thou art my Lord:
my goodness extendeth not to thee. - Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory: Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls.
- And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.
- A good name is rather to be chosen than great riches,
and loving favour rather than silver and gold. - For he satisfieth the longing soul,
and filleth the hungry soul with goodness. - He therefore that ministereth to you the Spirit, and worketh miracles among you, doeth he it by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?
- That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man; That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love.
- And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge; And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness; And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity.
Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord: And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him.There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. He that covereth a transgression seeketh love;
but he that repeateth a matter separateth very friends.Next verse!With image
