Chinese (traditional)- But thou, O Lord, art a shield for me;
my glory, and the lifter up of mine head. - Thou art all fair, my love;
there is no spot in thee. - And above all things have fervent charity among yourselves: for charity shall cover the multitude of sins.
- Let love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good.
- Nevertheless let every one of you in particular so love his wife even as himself; and the wife see that she reverence her husband.
- I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.
- Now the Lord of peace himself give you peace always by all means. The Lord be with you all.
- For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister.
- Save now, I beseech thee, O Lord:
O Lord, I beseech thee, send now prosperity.
Blessed be he that cometh in the name of the Lord:
we have blessed you out of the house of the Lord. - Ye that love the Lord, hate evil:
he preserveth the souls of his saints;
he delivereth them out of the hand of the wicked. - And this commandment have we from him, That he who loveth God love his brother also.
- By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.
- In thee, O Lord, do I put my trust;
let me never be ashamed:
deliver me in thy righteousness. - And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment.
- Great peace have they which love thy law:
and nothing shall offend them. - Thou, O Lord, remainest for ever;
thy throne from generation to generation. - Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.
- He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good;
and what doth the Lord require of thee,
but to do justly, and to love mercy,
and to walk humbly with thy God? - My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth.
- For this is the message that ye heard from the beginning, that we should love one another.
- But the Lord is faithful, who shall stablish you, and keep you from evil.
- He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.
- And now, Israel, what doth the Lord thy God require of thee, but to fear the Lord thy God, to walk in all his ways, and to love him, and to serve the Lord thy God with all thy heart and with all thy soul, To keep the commandments of the Lord, and his statutes, which I command thee this day for thy good?
- Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another.
- With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love.
Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him.He is the Rock, his work is perfect:
for all his ways are judgment:
a God of truth and without iniquity,
just and right is he. When thou passest through the waters,
I will be with thee;
and through the rivers,
they shall not overflow thee:
when thou walkest through the fire,
thou shalt not be burned;
neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.Next verse!With image
