If (2/4)

  • By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.
  • If you know me, you will know my Father also. From now on you do know him and have seen him.
  • If you do good to those who do good to you, what credit is that to you? For even sinners do the same.
  • If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, ask for whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.
  • For we have become partners of Christ, if only we hold our first confidence firm to the end.
  • So let us not grow weary in doing what is right, for we will reap at harvest time, if we do not give up.
  • No one has ever seen God; if we love one another, God lives in us, and his love is perfected in us.
  • And if I have prophetic powers, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing.
  • If we say that we have fellowship with him while we are walking in darkness, we lie and do not do what is true.
  • I do not nullify the grace of God; for if justification comes through the law, then Christ died for nothing.
  • If we confess our sins, he who is faithful and just will forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
  • If any of you is lacking in wisdom, ask God, who gives to all generously and ungrudgingly, and it will be given you.
  • From there you will seek the Lord your God, and you will find him if you search after him with all your heart and soul.
  • For the Lord your God is gracious and merciful, and will not turn away his face from you, if you return to him.
  • And this is the boldness we have in him, that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us.
  • So if I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another's feet.
  • But even if you do suffer for doing what is right, you are blessed. Do not fear what they fear, and do not be intimidated.
  • And if we know that he hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have obtained the requests made of him.
  • Jesus answered them, “Truly I tell you, if you have faith and do not doubt, not only will you do what has been done to the fig tree, but even if you say to this mountain, ‘Be lifted up and thrown into the sea,’ it will be done.”
  • In my Father's house there are many dwelling places. If it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you?
  • For if they fall, one will lift up the other; but woe to one who is alone and falls and does not have another to help.
  • If anyone destroys God's temple, God will destroy that person. For God's temple is holy, and you are that temple.
  • Because if you confess with your lips that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
  • Do not deceive yourselves. If you think that you are wise in this age, you should become fools so that you may become wise.
  • If you keep my commandments, you will abide in my love, just as I have kept my Father's commandments and abide in his love.

If you will not listen, if you will not lay it to heart to give glory to my name, says the Lord of hosts, then I will send the curse on you and I will curse your blessings; indeed I have already cursed them, because you do not lay it to heart.

One who is slow to anger is better than the mighty,
and one whose temper is controlled than one who captures a city.
