- Our help is in the name of the Lord,
Who made heaven and earth. - Glory to God in the highest,
And on earth peace, goodwill toward men! - I have taught you in the way of wisdom;
I have led you in right paths. - Delight yourself also in the Lord,
And He shall give you the desires of your heart. - Endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.
- I would have lost heart, unless I had believed
That I would see the goodness of the Lord
In the land of the living. - And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
- Deceit is in the heart of those who devise evil,
But counselors of peace have joy. - You therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.
- I have rejoiced in the way of Your testimonies,
As much as in all riches. - I set My rainbow in the cloud, and it shall be for the sign of the covenant between Me and the earth.
- The fear of man brings a snare,
But whoever trusts in the Lord shall be safe. - For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light.
- For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.
- “For I have no pleasure in the death of one who dies,” says the Lord God. “Therefore turn and live!”
- And daily in the temple, and in every house, they did not cease teaching and preaching Jesus as the Christ.
- Blessed are the undefiled in the way,
Who walk in the law of the Lord! - Train up a child in the way he should go,
And when he is old he will not depart from it. - Likewise, I say to you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents.
- For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh.
- My voice You shall hear in the morning, O Lord;
In the morning I will direct it to You,
And I will look up. - Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
- He who heeds the word wisely will find good,
And whoever trusts in the Lord, happy is he. - Riches do not profit in the day of wrath,
But righteousness delivers from death. - So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.
