Chinese (traditional)- Deceit is in the heart of them that imagine evil:
but to the counsellors of peace is joy. - For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
- He hath made every thing beautiful in his time: also he hath set the world in their heart, so that no man can find out the work that God maketh from the beginning to the end.
- These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full.
- Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.
- Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
- Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world.
- He giveth power to the faint;
and to them that have no might he increaseth strength. - Let us search and try our ways,
and turn again to the Lord. - As concerning therefore the eating of those things that are offered in sacrifice unto idols, we know that an idol is nothing in the world, and that there is none other God but one.
- Turn not to the right hand nor to the left:
remove thy foot from evil. - But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.
- Pleasant words are as an honeycomb,
sweet to the soul, and health to the bones. - I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.
- Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me: for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world.
- O my soul, thou hast said unto the Lord, Thou art my Lord:
my goodness extendeth not to thee. - Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not.
- I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth.
- For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death.
- And base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are: That no flesh should glory in his presence.
- With my soul have I desired thee in the night;
yea, with my spirit within me will I seek thee early:
for when thy judgments are in the earth,
the inhabitants of the world will learn righteousness. - A man hath joy by the answer of his mouth:
and a word spoken in due season, how good is it! - Defend the poor and fatherless:
do justice to the afflicted and needy. - For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse.
- And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.And he saith unto them, Be not affrighted: Ye seek Jesus of Nazareth, which was crucified: he is risen; he is not here: behold the place where they laid him.
