- For I long to see you so that I may impart some spiritual gift to you, that you may be established; that is, that I may be encouraged together with you while among you, each of us by the other’s faith, both yours and mine.

Your name, and remembering You, is the desire of our souls. - For you have been called for this purpose, because Christ also suffered for you, leaving you an example, so that you would follow in His steps.

His times of coming forth are from long ago,
From the days of eternity. - For sin shall not be master over you, for you are not under the Law but under grace.
- And when He had taken some bread and given thanks, He broke it and gave it to them, saying, “This is My body, which is being given for you; do this in remembrance of Me.”
- Oh, Lord God! Behold, You Yourself have made the heavens and the earth by Your great power and by Your outstretched arm! Nothing is too difficult for You.
- Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God for you in Christ Jesus.
- I love the Lord, because He hears
My voice and my pleas.
Because He has inclined His ear to me,
Therefore I will call upon Him as long as I live. - Nevertheless, in Your great compassion You did not make an end of them or abandon them,
For You are a gracious and compassionate God. - And may the Lord cause you to increase and overflow in love for one another, and for all people, just as we also do for you.
- For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord; walk as children of light.
- For you have need of endurance, so that when you have done the will of God, you may receive what was promised.
- ‘For I know the plans that I have for you,’ declares the Lord, ‘plans for prosperity and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.’
- Since you are precious in My sight,
Since you are honored and I love you,
I will give other people in your place and other nations in exchange for your life.
