- The Lord shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace.
- Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.
- As the hart panteth after the water brooks,
so panteth my soul after thee, O God. - When I kept silence, my bones waxed old
through my roaring all the day long. - Lead me in thy truth, and teach me:
for thou art the God of my salvation;
on thee do I wait all the day. - He coveteth greedily all the day long:
but the righteous giveth and spareth not. - I will sing unto the Lord as long as I live:
I will sing praise to my God while I have my being. - For I long to see you, that I may impart unto you some spiritual gift, to the end ye may be established; That is, that I may be comforted together with you by the mutual faith both of you and me.
- In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
- As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby.
- Only fear the Lord, and serve him in truth with all your heart: for consider how great things he hath done for you.
- Likewise also the cup after supper, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood, which is shed for you.
- Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee.
- For thou, O God, hast proved us:
thou hast tried us, as silver is tried. - I stretch forth my hands unto thee:
my soul thirsteth after thee, as a thirsty land. Selah. - Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.
- But speak thou the things which become sound doctrine.
- And he took bread, and gave thanks, and brake it, and gave unto them, saying, This is my body which is given for you: this do in remembrance of me.
- Arise, shine; for thy light is come,
and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee. - Teach me to do thy will;
for thou art my God:
thy spirit is good;
lead me into the land of uprightness. - I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep:
for thou, Lord, only makest me dwell in safety. - And they that know thy name will put their trust in thee:
for thou, Lord, hast not forsaken them that seek thee. - My son, forget not my law;
but let thine heart keep my commandments:
For length of days, and long life,
and peace, shall they add to thee. - I love the Lord, because he hath heard
my voice and my supplications.
Because he hath inclined his ear unto me,
therefore will I call upon him as long as I live. - Let my mouth be filled with thy praise
and with thy honour all the day.
If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.The Lord our God be with us, as he was with our fathers: let him not leave us, nor forsake us. Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth; Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.Next verse!With image
