- The Lord shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace.
- As the hart panteth after the water brooks,
so panteth my soul after thee, O God. - Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.
- When I kept silence, my bones waxed old
through my roaring all the day long. - Lead me in thy truth, and teach me:
for thou art the God of my salvation;
on thee do I wait all the day. - He coveteth greedily all the day long:
but the righteous giveth and spareth not. - I will sing unto the Lord as long as I live:
I will sing praise to my God while I have my being. - As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby.
- For I long to see you, that I may impart unto you some spiritual gift, to the end ye may be established; That is, that I may be comforted together with you by the mutual faith both of you and me.
- In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
- Only fear the Lord, and serve him in truth with all your heart: for consider how great things he hath done for you.
- For thou, O God, hast proved us:
thou hast tried us, as silver is tried. - I stretch forth my hands unto thee:
my soul thirsteth after thee, as a thirsty land. Selah. - Likewise also the cup after supper, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood, which is shed for you.
- Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.
- But speak thou the things which become sound doctrine.
- Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee.
- Arise, shine; for thy light is come,
and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee. - I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep:
for thou, Lord, only makest me dwell in safety. - Teach me to do thy will;
for thou art my God:
thy spirit is good;
lead me into the land of uprightness. - Let my mouth be filled with thy praise
and with thy honour all the day. - And they that know thy name will put their trust in thee:
for thou, Lord, hast not forsaken them that seek thee. - And he took bread, and gave thanks, and brake it, and gave unto them, saying, This is my body which is given for you: this do in remembrance of me.
- O Lord, thou art my God;
I will exalt thee, I will praise thy name;
for thou hast done wonderful things;
thy counsels of old
are faithfulness and truth. - If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.
Heal me, O Lord, and I shall be healed;
save me, and I shall be saved:
for thou art my praise.Ah Lord God! behold, thou hast made the heaven and the earth by thy great power and stretched out arm, and there is nothing too hard for thee. Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.Next verse!With image
