- But thou, O Lord, art a shield for me;
my glory, and the lifter up of mine head. - O God, thou art my God;
early will I seek thee:
my soul thirsteth for thee,
my flesh longeth for thee
in a dry and thirsty land,
where no water is. - I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills,
from whence cometh my help.
My help cometh from the Lord,
which made heaven and earth. - My son, forget not my law;
but let thine heart keep my commandments:
For length of days, and long life,
and peace, shall they add to thee. - Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God.
- Hear my prayer, O Lord,
give ear to my supplications:
in thy faithfulness answer me,
and in thy righteousness. - My son, attend to my words;
incline thine ear unto my sayings.
Let them not depart from thine eyes;
keep them in the midst of thine heart. - My lips shall greatly rejoice when I sing unto thee;
and my soul, which thou hast redeemed. - The Lord God is my strength,
and he will make my feet like hinds' feet,
and he will make me to walk upon mine high places. - Thy testimonies have I taken as an heritage for ever:
for they are the rejoicing of my heart. - He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High
shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress:
my God; in him will I trust. - Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.
- My times are in thy hand:
deliver me from the hand of mine enemies,
and from them that persecute me. - My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O Lord;
in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up. - I will sing unto the Lord as long as I live:
I will sing praise to my God while I have my being. - For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
so are my ways higher than your ways,
and my thoughts than your thoughts. - Jesus answered them, and said, My doctrine is not mine, but his that sent me.
- Out of the depths have I cried unto thee, O Lord.
Lord, hear my voice:
let thine ears be attentive
to the voice of my supplications. - And I will make thy seed to multiply as the stars of heaven, and will give unto thy seed all these countries; and in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; Because that Abraham obeyed my voice, and kept my charge, my commandments, my statutes, and my laws.
- Bless the Lord, O my soul:
and all that is within me, bless his holy name. - Now therefore, if ye will obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then ye shall be a peculiar treasure unto me above all people: for all the earth is mine.
- I am the Lord your God; walk in my statutes, and keep my judgments, and do them; And hallow my sabbaths; and they shall be a sign between me and you, that ye may know that I am the Lord your God.
- I wait for the Lord, my soul doth wait,
and in his word do I hope. - My doctrine shall drop as the rain,
my speech shall distil as the dew,
as the small rain upon the tender herb,
and as the showers upon the grass. - If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
Have mercy upon me, O God,
according to thy lovingkindness:
according unto the multitude of thy tender mercies
blot out my transgressions.
Wash me throughly from mine iniquity,
and cleanse me from my sin.A fool despiseth his father's instruction:
but he that regardeth reproof is prudent. And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful.Next verse!With image
