- The sum of your word is truth;
and every one of your righteous ordinances endures forever. - Great peace have those who love your law;
nothing can make them stumble. - Deliver me, O Lord,
from lying lips,
from a deceitful tongue. - I lift up my eyes to the hills—
from where will my help come?
My help comes from the Lord,
who made heaven and earth. - He will not let your foot be moved;
he who keeps you will not slumber. - The Lord will keep you from all evil;
he will keep your life.
The Lord will keep
your going out and your coming in
from this time on and forevermore. - Our help is in the name of the Lord,
who made heaven and earth. - Unless the Lord builds the house,
those who build it labor in vain.
Unless the Lord guards the city,
the guard keeps watch in vain. - Happy is everyone who fears the Lord,
who walks in his ways. - Out of the depths I cry to you, O Lord.
Lord, hear my voice!
Let your ears be attentive
to the voice of my supplications! - I wait for the Lord, my soul waits,
and in his word I hope. - How very good and pleasant it is
when kindred live together in unity! - The Lord will fulfill his purpose for me;
your steadfast love, O Lord, endures forever.
Do not forsake the work of your hands. - O Lord, you have searched me and known me.
You know when I sit down and when I rise up;
you discern my thoughts from far away. - Even before a word is on my tongue,
O Lord, you know it completely. - Where can I go from your spirit?
Or where can I flee from your presence?
If I ascend to heaven, you are there;
if I make my bed in Sheol, you are there. - For it was you who formed my inward parts;
you knit me together in my mother's womb.
I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made.
Wonderful are your works;
that I know very well. - Search me, O God, and know my heart;
test me and know my thoughts.
See if there is any wicked way in me,
and lead me in the way everlasting. - Hear my prayer, O Lord;
give ear to my supplications in your faithfulness;
answer me in your righteousness. - I stretch out my hands to you;
my soul thirsts for you like a parched land. Selah - Let me hear of your steadfast love in the morning,
for in you I put my trust.
Teach me the way I should go,
for to you I lift up my soul. - Teach me to do your will,
for you are my God.
Let your good spirit lead me
on a level path. - I will extol you, my God and King,
and bless your name forever and ever. - Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised;
his greatness is unsearchable. - The Lord is just in all his ways,
and kind in all his doings.
The Lord is near to all who call on him,
to all who call on him in truth.But strive first for the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. You did not choose me but I chose you. And I appointed you to go and bear fruit, fruit that will last, so that the Father will give you whatever you ask him in my name.Next verse!With image
