- No one has ever seen God; the only God, who is at the Father's side, he has made him known.
- And the Lord will be king over all the earth. On that day the Lord will be one and his name one.
- Woe to him who strives with him who formed him,
a pot among earthen pots!
Does the clay say to him who forms it, ‘What are you making?’
or ‘Your work has no handles’? - I, I am he who comforts you;
who are you that you are afraid of man who dies,
of the son of man who is made like grass. - The steps of a man are established by the Lord,
when he delights in his way. - For just as the body is one and has many members, and all the members of the body, though many, are one body, so it is with Christ.
- And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body. And be thankful.
- And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ.
- Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer of faith will save the one who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.
- For as in one body we have many members, and the members do not all have the same function, so we, though many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another.
- And I heard every creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth and in the sea, and all that is in them, saying,
“To him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb
be blessing and honor and glory and might forever and ever!” - And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather fear him who can destroy both soul and body in hell.
- The point is this: whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows bountifully will also reap bountifully.
- Save us, we pray, O Lord!
O Lord, we pray, give us success!
Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!
We bless you from the house of the Lord. - For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith for faith, as it is written, “The righteous shall live by faith.”
- Because I delivered the poor who cried for help,
and the fatherless who had none to help him.
The blessing of him who was about to perish came upon me,
and I caused the widow's heart to sing for joy. - And Jesus said to him, “‘If you can’! All things are possible for one who believes.”
- One thing have I asked of the Lord,
that will I seek after:
that I may dwell in the house of the Lord
all the days of my life,
to gaze upon the beauty of the Lord
and to inquire in his temple. - For every house is built by someone, but the builder of all things is God.
- Whoever has my commandments and keeps them, he it is who loves me. And he who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I will love him and manifest myself to him.
- The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom,
and the knowledge of the Holy One is insight. - Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good!
Blessed is the man who takes refuge in him! - And the crowds that went before him and that followed him were shouting, “Hosanna to the Son of David! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord! Hosanna in the highest!”
- Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever believes in me will also do the works that I do; and greater works than these will he do, because I am going to the Father.
- He who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will supply and multiply your seed for sowing and increase the harvest of your righteousness.
