- And when they had fasted and prayed, and laid their hands on them, they sent them away.
- The fear of the Lord is the instruction of wisdom;
and before honour is humility. - Then shalt thou understand righteousness, and judgment,
and equity; yea, every good path. - But the Lord said unto Samuel, Look not on his countenance, or on the height of his stature; because I have refused him: for the Lord seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the Lord looketh on the heart.
- As the living Father hath sent me, and I live by the Father: so he that eateth me, even he shall live by me.
- And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.
- Thou wilt shew me the path of life:
in thy presence is fulness of joy;
at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore. - Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures.
- And it shall be, when he shall be guilty in one of these things, that he shall confess that he hath sinned in that thing.
- Can any man forbid water, that these should not be baptized, which have received the Holy Ghost as well as we?
- Even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.
- Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall: For so an entrance shall be ministered unto you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
- Likewise also the cup after supper, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood, which is shed for you.
- And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour.
- For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.
- Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give.
- And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him.
- In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety; not with broided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array; But (which becometh women professing godliness) with good works.
- So shall the knowledge of wisdom be unto thy soul:
when thou hast found it, then there shall be a reward,
and thy expectation shall not be cut off. - And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.
- After this manner therefore pray ye:
Our Father which art in heaven,
Hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come,
Thy will be done in earth,
as it is in heaven. - For in many things we offend all. If any man offend not in word, the same is a perfect man, and able also to bridle the whole body.

- Forasmuch then as Christ hath suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves likewise with the same mind: for he that hath suffered in the flesh hath ceased from sin.
- For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.
He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life. Fear thou not; for I am with thee:
be not dismayed; for I am thy God:
I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee;
yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.Next verse!With image
