Chinese (traditional)- Thus will I magnify myself, and sanctify myself; and I will be known in the eyes of many nations, and they shall know that I am the Lord.
- For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.
- If ye will not hear, and if ye will not lay it to heart, to give glory unto my name, saith the Lord of hosts, I will even send a curse upon you, and I will curse your blessings: yea, I have cursed them already, because ye do not lay it to heart.
- For I the Lord thy God
will hold thy right hand,
saying unto thee, Fear not;
I will help thee. - And I will make them and the places round about my hill a blessing; and I will cause the shower to come down in his season; there shall be showers of blessing.
- And the Lord, he it is that doth go before thee; he will be with thee, he will not fail thee, neither forsake thee: fear not, neither be dismayed.
- Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you.
- The Lord is with you, while ye be with him; and if ye seek him, he will be found of you; but if ye forsake him, he will forsake you.
- Because thy lovingkindness is better than life,
my lips shall praise thee.
Thus will I bless thee while I live:
I will lift up my hands in thy name. - A faithful witness will not lie:
but a false witness will utter lies. - Faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it.
- Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you.
- I delight to do thy will, O my God:
yea, thy law is within my heart. - What time I am afraid, I will trust in thee.
- The Lord will give strength unto his people;
the Lord will bless his people with peace. - If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
- The wise in heart will receive commandments:
but a prating fool shall fall. - Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.
- And I will walk at liberty:
for I seek thy precepts. - But I will sing of thy power;
yea, I will sing aloud of thy mercy in the morning:
for thou hast been my defence
and refuge in the day of my trouble. - And he saith unto them, Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.
- And I say unto you, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you.
- I will never forget thy precepts:
for with them thou hast quickened me. - Surely he shall not be moved for ever:
the righteous shall be in everlasting remembrance. - Return, thou backsliding Israel, saith the Lord;
and I will not cause mine anger to fall upon you:
for I am merciful, saith the Lord,
and I will not keep anger for ever.
Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.He is the Rock, his work is perfect:
for all his ways are judgment:
a God of truth and without iniquity,
just and right is he. And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.Next verse!With image
