- Remember, O Lord, Your tender mercies and Your lovingkindnesses,

According to Your mercy remember me,
For Your goodness’ sake, O Lord. - For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.
- Jesus answered them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, whoever commits sin is a slave of sin.”
- So then, those who are in the flesh cannot please God.
- For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life.
- Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven,
Whose sin is covered. - For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
- Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord.

But the name of the wicked will rot. - “Be angry, and do not sin”: do not let the sun go down on your wrath, nor give place to the devil.

- He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil.
- There is a way that seems right to a man,
But its end is the way of death. - For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their lawless deeds I will remember no more.
- For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.
- I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh.
- We have sinned and committed iniquity, we have done wickedly and rebelled, even by departing from Your precepts and Your judgments.
- Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
- I acknowledged my sin to You,
And my iniquity I have not hidden.
I said, “I will confess my transgressions to the Lord,”
And You forgave the iniquity of my sin. Selah - If a person sins, and commits any of these things which are forbidden to be done by the commandments of the Lord, though he does not know it, yet he is guilty and shall bear his iniquity.
- Whoever commits sin also commits lawlessness, and sin is lawlessness.
- Awake to righteousness, and do not sin; for some do not have the knowledge of God. I speak this to your shame.
