Bible Verses about the Father
- Like a father has compassion on his children,
so Yahweh has compassion on those who fear him. - See how great a love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God! For this cause the world doesn’t know us, because it didn’t know him.
- My son, don’t despise Yahweh’s discipline,
neither be weary of his correction;
for whom Yahweh loves, he corrects,
even as a father reproves the son in whom he delights. - But you, when you pray, enter into your inner room, and having shut your door, pray to your Father who is in secret; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly.
- Father, I desire that they also whom you have given me be with me where I am, that they may see my glory which you have given me, for you loved me before the foundation of the world.
- See the birds of the sky, that they don’t sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren’t you of much more value than they?

- One who has my commandments and keeps them, that person is one who loves me. One who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I will love him, and will reveal myself to him.
- For the creation waits with eager expectation for the children of God to be revealed.
- Whatever you will ask in my name, I will do it, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
- For a child is born to us. A son is given to us; and the government will be on his shoulders. His name will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
- No one has seen God at any time. The only born Son, who is in the bosom of the Father, has declared him.
- In my Father’s house are many homes. If it weren’t so, I would have told you. I am going to prepare a place for you.
