Chinese (traditional)If you forgive others for the wrongs they have done, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. I will place my rainbow in the clouds and it will be a sign of the covenant between me and the earth. I will establish my covenant with you: never again will all living creatures be cut off by the waters of a flood, nor will the earth be laid waste by a flood again. Do not succumb to the love of money, but be content with what you have, for God has said, “I will never forsake you or abandon you.” It is rash to pledge a sacred gift,
or to make a vow and then have second thoughts. What then shall we say? Should we persist in sin in order that grace may abound? Of course not! We have died to sin. How can we live in it any longer? There is only one thing I ask of the Lord,
just one thing I seek:
to dwell in the house of the Lord
all the days of my life,
so that I may enjoy the beauty of the Lord
and gaze on his temple. But according to Scripture all things have been confined under sin, so that through faith in Jesus Christ what was promised might be given to those who believe. Let your attitude be identical to that of Christ Jesus. Do not be deceived; God cannot be mocked. A person will reap only what he sows. Treasures obtained by wicked means profit nothing,
but a righteous life brings delivery from death. The one who gives this testimony says, “Yes, I am coming soon.”
Amen. Come, Lord Jesus! Alleluia.
Blessed is the man who fears the Lord,
who greatly delights in his precepts. And every tongue should proclaim
to the glory of God the Father:
Jesus Christ is Lord. Wealth hastily acquired will dwindle away,
but when amassed little by little, it will increase. Faith is the assurance of what we hope for and the conviction about things that cannot be seen. The future bodes well for him
who is generous in helping those in need
and who conducts his affairs with justice. He himself bore our sins in his body on the cross, so that we might die to sin and live in righteousness. By his wounds you have been healed. The Lord is my light and my salvation;
whom should I fear?
The Lord is the stronghold of my life;
of whom should I be afraid? Finally, brethren, let your minds be filled with whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is pleasing, whatever is commendable, whatever is excellent, whatever is worthy of praise. One who gossips reveals secrets,
but a trustworthy man keeps things hidden. The grace of the Lord Jesus be with you all. God gave the midwives numerous families because they had feared God. Yet even if you should suffer for doing what is right, you are thereby blessed. Have no fear of others, and refuse to be intimidated by them. He will never be swayed;
the righteous man will be remembered forever. Let your kindness be known to everyone. The Lord is near. Brethren, if anyone is detected committing a transgression, you who are spiritual must set him right in a spirit of gentleness. Meanwhile, you should take care so that you yourselves are not tempted. A generous person will be enriched;
he who refreshes others will also be refreshed. So Christ, having been offered once to take away the sins of many, will appear a second time, not to deal with sin but to bring salvation to those who are eagerly waiting for him. Taking the five loaves and the two fish, he looked up to heaven and blessed and broke them and gave them to the disciples to distribute among the people. They all ate and were satisfied. Then they gathered up what was left over—twelve baskets of fragments. Continue in all of the ways that the Lord, your God, has commanded you. Continue in them so that you may live and prosper and that you may long dwell on the land of your inheritance. O Lord, you are kind and forgiving,
filled with kindness for all who cry to you. In love there is no fear;
indeed, perfect love casts out fear,
because fear has to do with punishment,
and whoever fears
has not yet achieved perfection in love.Next verse!With image
