And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works: Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching. These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full. Oh how great is thy goodness,
which thou hast laid up for them that fear thee;
which thou hast wrought for them that trust in thee
before the sons of men! And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive. Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. Commit thy works unto the Lord,
and thy thoughts shall be established. And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience; And patience, experience; and experience, hope. The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Ghost, be with you all. Amen. Pleasant words are as an honeycomb,
sweet to the soul, and health to the bones. Behold, happy is the man whom God correcteth:
therefore despise not thou the chastening of the Almighty. But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible. Thine own friend, and thy father's friend, forsake not;
neither go into thy brother's house in the day of thy calamity:
for better is a neighbour that is near than a brother far off. Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord. Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again. A man hath joy by the answer of his mouth:
and a word spoken in due season, how good is it! If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth. And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart. My flesh and my heart faileth:
but God is the strength of my heart,
and my portion for ever. And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God: and the prisoners heard them. he that keepeth thee will not slumber. He only is my rock and my salvation:
he is my defence; I shall not be moved. Blessed is the man that trusteth in the Lord,
and whose hope the Lord is.
For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters,
and that spreadeth out her roots by the river,
and shall not see when heat cometh,
but her leaf shall be green;
and shall not be careful in the year of drought,
neither shall cease from yielding fruit.Next verse!With image
