I will love thee, O Lord, my strength.
The Lord is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer;
my God, my strength, in whom I will trust;
my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower. I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain. The Lord thy God in the midst of thee is mighty;
he will save,
he will rejoice over thee with joy;
he will rest in his love,
he will joy over thee with singing. The Lord openeth the eyes of the blind:
the Lord raiseth them that are bowed down:
the Lord loveth the righteous. For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you. O come, let us worship and bow down:
let us kneel before the Lord our maker. Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time. Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. Defend the poor and fatherless:
do justice to the afflicted and needy. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also ye do. For thou, Lord, art good, and ready to forgive;
and plenteous in mercy unto all them that call upon thee. Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing. Treasures of wickedness profit nothing:
but righteousness delivereth from death. But he said, Yea rather, blessed are they that hear the word of God, and keep it. Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord. One thing have I desired of the Lord,
that will I seek after;
that I may dwell in the house of the Lord
all the days of my life,
to behold the beauty of the Lord,
and to enquire in his temple. Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come. But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. A fool despiseth his father's instruction:
but he that regardeth reproof is prudent. Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal: But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal. Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the Lord thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest. Thou art my hiding place and my shield:
I hope in thy word. I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth. And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness:
God was manifest in the flesh,
justified in the Spirit,
seen of angels,
preached unto the Gentiles,
believed on in the world,
received up into glory. Every way of a man is right in his own eyes:
but the Lord pondereth the hearts. But when Jesus heard it, he answered him, saying, Fear not: believe only, and she shall be made whole. If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen? Rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for him:
fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way,
because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass. The Lord our God be with us, as he was with our fathers: let him not leave us, nor forsake us. I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills,
from whence cometh my help.
My help cometh from the Lord,
which made heaven and earth.Next verse!With image
