Chinese (traditional)And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things? A soft answer turns away wrath,
But a harsh word stirs up anger. For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this: “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision avails anything, but faith working through love. Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised;
And His greatness is unsearchable. But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name. Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. Train up a child in the way he should go,
And when he is old he will not depart from it. Therefore let us not judge one another anymore, but rather resolve this, not to put a stumbling block or a cause to fall in our brother’s way. Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? May He grant you according to your heart’s desire,
And fulfill all your purpose. No one, when he has lit a lamp, covers it with a vessel or puts it under a bed, but sets it on a lampstand, that those who enter may see the light. That He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man, that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love. For He satisfies the longing soul,
And fills the hungry soul with goodness. A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart brings forth evil. For out of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaks. Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much. Be still, and know that I am God;
I will be exalted among the nations,
I will be exalted in the earth! Therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, put on tender mercies, kindness, humility, meekness, longsuffering. He answered and said to them, “He who has two tunics, let him give to him who has none; and he who has food, let him do likewise.” The fear of the Lord is the instruction of wisdom,
And before honor is humility. That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. Now he who keeps His commandments abides in Him, and He in him. And by this we know that He abides in us, by the Spirit whom He has given us. For His anger is but for a moment,
His favor is for life;
Weeping may endure for a night,
But joy comes in the morning. “Be angry, and do not sin”: do not let the sun go down on your wrath, nor give place to the devil. For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. For who is God, except the Lord?
And who is a rock, except our God? If you love Me, keep My commandments. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you. As you do not know what is the way of the wind,
Or how the bones grow in the womb of her who is with child,
So you do not know the works of God who makes everything. And the Lord shall be King over all the earth.
In that day it shall be—
“The Lord is one,”
And His name one. Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing.Next verse!With image
