Chinese (traditional)The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly. He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also He has put eternity in their hearts, except that no one can find out the work that God does from beginning to end. Blessed is the man
Who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly,
Nor stands in the path of sinners,
Nor sits in the seat of the scornful. Honor widows who are really widows. Preach the word! Be ready in season and out of season. Convince, rebuke, exhort, with all longsuffering and teaching. Whoever loves instruction loves knowledge,
But he who hates correction is stupid. Repent, and turn from all your transgressions, so that iniquity will not be your ruin. Likewise, I say to you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents. And I will walk at liberty,
For I seek Your precepts. For thus says the Lord to the house of Israel:
“Seek Me and live.” In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace. Whoever hides hatred has lying lips,
And whoever spreads slander is a fool. What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? And we have known and believed the love that God has for us. God is love, and he who abides in love abides in God, and God in him. Create in me a clean heart, O God,
And renew a steadfast spirit within me. Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me. For of Him and through Him and to Him are all things, to whom be glory forever. Amen. Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness’ sake,
For theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Not that I speak in regard to need, for I have learned in whatever state I am, to be content. Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things. For You, O God, have tested us;
You have refined us as silver is refined. For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame.” As he came from his mother’s womb, naked shall he return,
To go as he came;
And he shall take nothing from his labor
Which he may carry away in his hand. I wait for the Lord, my soul waits,
And in His word I do hope. Give to everyone who asks of you. And from him who takes away your goods do not ask them back. Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us. A wise son makes a glad father,
But a foolish son is the grief of his mother. Then it will be righteousness for us, if we are careful to observe all these commandments before the Lord our God, as He has commanded us. But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses. Show me Your ways, O Lord;
Teach me Your paths. Deceit is in the heart of those who devise evil,
But counselors of peace have joy. Finally, all of you be of one mind, having compassion for one another; love as brothers, be tenderhearted, be courteous.Next verse!With image
