Chinese (traditional)He only is my rock and my salvation;
He is my defense;
I shall not be greatly moved. Now no chastening seems to be joyful for the present, but painful; nevertheless, afterward it yields the peaceable fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it. The things which you learned and received and heard and saw in me, these do, and the God of peace will be with you. Is this not the fast that I have chosen:
To loose the bonds of wickedness,
To undo the heavy burdens,
To let the oppressed go free,
And that you break every yoke? Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. Until now you have asked nothing in My name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full. My lips shall greatly rejoice when I sing to You,
And my soul, which You have redeemed. But above all, my brethren, do not swear, either by heaven or by earth or with any other oath. But let your “Yes” be “Yes,” and your “No,” “No,” lest you fall into judgment. For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so also by one Man’s obedience many will be made righteous. Hope deferred makes the heart sick,
But when the desire comes, it is a tree of life. “The Lord is my portion,” says my soul,
“Therefore I hope in Him!” But He said, “The things which are impossible with men are possible with God.” Blessed are those who keep His testimonies,
Who seek Him with the whole heart! You shall not add to the word which I command you, nor take from it, that you may keep the commandments of the Lord your God which I command you. And to love Him with all the heart, with all the understanding, with all the soul, and with all the strength, and to love one’s neighbor as oneself, is more than all the whole burnt offerings and sacrifices. He who gets wisdom loves his own soul;
He who keeps understanding will find good. So rend your heart, and not your garments;
Return to the Lord your God,
For He is gracious and merciful,
Slow to anger, and of great kindness;
And He relents from doing harm. The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand. Repent, and believe in the gospel. Seek the Lord and His strength;
Seek His face evermore! Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice! Watch, stand fast in the faith, be brave, be strong. He stores up sound wisdom for the upright;
He is a shield to those who walk uprightly. Therefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and rest your hope fully upon the grace that is to be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ. For by one Spirit we were all baptized into one body—whether Jews or Greeks, whether slaves or free—and have all been made to drink into one Spirit. Truly my soul silently waits for God;
From Him comes my salvation. Let no corrupt word proceed out of your mouth, but what is good for necessary edification, that it may impart grace to the hearers. But let your ‘Yes’ be ‘Yes,’ and your ‘No,’ ‘No.’ For whatever is more than these is from the evil one. Oh, give thanks to the Lord, for He is good!
For His mercy endures forever. Of His own will He brought us forth by the word of truth, that we might be a kind of firstfruits of His creatures. For our citizenship is in heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ. Some trust in chariots, and some in horses;
But we will remember the name of the Lord our God. To Him all the prophets witness that, through His name, whoever believes in Him will receive remission of sins. So then, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath.Next verse!With image
