Blessed are the peacemakers,
for they will be called children of God. And I will put my Spirit in you and move you to follow my decrees and be careful to keep my laws. And he is the head of the body, the church; he is the beginning and the firstborn from among the dead, so that in everything he might have the supremacy. Our help is in the name of the Lord,
the Maker of heaven and earth. For every house is built by someone, but God is the builder of everything. Be wise in the way you act toward outsiders; make the most of every opportunity. Let your conversation be always full of grace, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how to answer everyone. The tongue has the power of life and death,
and those who love it will eat its fruit. “Abba, Father,” he said, “everything is possible for you. Take this cup from me. How abundant are the good things
that you have stored up for those who fear you,
that you bestow in the sight of all,
on those who take refuge in you. The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit. May the God who gives endurance and encouragement give you the same attitude of mind toward each other that Christ Jesus had. In that day you will say:

make known among the nations what he has done,
and proclaim that his name is exalted.” Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned. So in Christ Jesus you are all children of God through faith, for all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ. The Lord will vindicate me;
your love, Lord, endures forever—
do not abandon the works of your hands. Blessed are the peacemakers,
for they will be called children of God. Your beauty should not come from outward adornment, such as elaborate hairstyles and the wearing of gold jewelry or fine clothes.
