For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. But the scripture hath concluded all under sin, that the promise by faith of Jesus Christ might be given to them that believe. So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth:
it shall not return unto me void,
but it shall accomplish that which I please,
and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it. Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak. We are bound to thank God always for you, brethren, as it is meet, because that your faith groweth exceedingly, and the charity of every one of you all toward each other aboundeth. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me
all the days of my life:
and I will dwell in the house of the Lord
for ever. As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby. Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. He that covereth a transgression seeketh love;
but he that repeateth a matter separateth very friends. For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world. Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin. Depart from evil, and do good;
seek peace, and pursue it. Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto you: as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you. The words of a wise man's mouth are gracious;
but the lips of a fool will swallow up himself. Blessed are the peacemakers:
for they shall be called the children of God. And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them. And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence. Our help is in the name of the Lord,
who made heaven and earth. For every house is builded by some man; but he that built all things is God. Walk in wisdom toward them that are without, redeeming the time. Let your speech be always with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer every man. Death and life are in the power of the tongue:
and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof. Abba, Father, all things are possible unto thee; take away this cup from me: nevertheless not what I will, but what thou wilt. Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong. Oh how great is thy goodness,
which thou hast laid up for them that fear thee;
which thou hast wrought for them that trust in thee
before the sons of men! The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit. Amen. Now the God of patience and consolation grant you to be likeminded one toward another according to Christ Jesus. And in that day shall ye say,
Praise the Lord, call upon his name,
declare his doings among the people,
make mention that his name is exalted. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. The Lord will perfect that which concerneth me:
thy mercy, O Lord, endureth for ever:
forsake not the works of thine own hands. He only is my rock and my salvation:
he is my defence; I shall not be moved.
