Delight thyself also in the Lord:
and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart. But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost. As for God, his way is perfect;
the word of the Lord is tried:
he is a buckler to all them that trust in him. Turn ye unto me, saith the Lord of hosts, and I will turn unto you, saith the Lord of hosts. He must increase, but I must decrease. With the merciful thou wilt shew thyself merciful;
with an upright man thou wilt shew thyself upright. Bless them which persecute you: bless, and curse not. And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses. Before destruction the heart of man is haughty,
and before honour is humility. As sorrowful, yet alway rejoicing; as poor, yet making many rich; as having nothing, and yet possessing all things. For whether we live, we live unto the Lord; and whether we die, we die unto the Lord: whether we live therefore, or die, we are the Lord's. Blessed is every one that feareth the Lord;
that walketh in his ways. I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth. Him that is weak in the faith receive ye, but not to doubtful disputations. Seek ye the Lord while he may be found,
call ye upon him while he is near. And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour. But if from thence thou shalt seek the Lord thy God, thou shalt find him, if thou seek him with all thy heart and with all thy soul. God shall bless us;
and all the ends of the earth shall fear him. And heal the sick that are therein, and say unto them, The kingdom of God is come nigh unto you. And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the people. A good name is rather to be chosen than great riches,
and loving favour rather than silver and gold. Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven. Both riches and honour come of thee, and thou reignest over all; and in thine hand is power and might; and in thine hand it is to make great, and to give strength unto all. The heavens declare the glory of God;
and the firmament sheweth his handywork.
Day unto day uttereth speech,
and night unto night sheweth knowledge. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? He that is slow to wrath is of great understanding:
but he that is hasty of spirit exalteth folly. Surely the Lord God will do nothing,
but he revealeth his secret
unto his servants the prophets. But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. I will extol thee, my God, O king;
and I will bless thy name for ever and ever. He only is my rock and my salvation:
he is my defence; I shall not be moved. Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.Next verse!With image
